Unbowed, the Top Gear pair are back for another crack and this time they're hoping to avoid inconveniences like apprehension by the French police. Welcome, then, to The Perfect Road Trip... Italy. Once again, Clarkson and Hammond are seeking joy and perfection wherever it may be with a range of fast, beautiful and exciting cars unleashed on glorious roads amongst gorgeous scenery and drenched in Mediterranean sunshine. As part of their arduous research into perfection, the duo will also undertake some ridiculous challenges and hilarious stunts culminating in a strangely literal car race on the island of Capri. | 203 | Top Gear: The Worst Car in the History of the World | 2012-11-19 |
| Jeremy Clarkson and James May set out to find the worst car in the history of the world — but with one key rule: it has to be an expensive car from a manufacturer that really should have known better. Cheap Eastern European rust buckets or obvious low-budget disasters don't count. They review and roast various contenders (including the FSO Polonez, some odd Jeep copies, Ferrari Mondial, Ford GT for weird reasons, and others), but ultimately crown the Lexus SC 430 (2001–2010 model, known in some markets as Toyota Soarer) as the worst car in the history of the world. The special ends with a symbolic "prize" for the loser: handing the car over to Richard Hammond to destroy/play with as scrap. | ||

| 171 | Top Gear: Apocalypse | 2010-11-22 |
| Just what will motoring be like in a post apocalyptic world that's been blown to bits by nuclear bombs or a massive comet? It's a burning question that's on literally nobody's mind, and we give you all the answers in this brand new, incredibly cheerful Top Gear DVD. Embarking on a terrifying journey into the future, we show you how to drive to work in the perpetual darkness of a Nuclear Winter, how to make motor sport exciting when there's only two racing drivers left alive, and, in a world where all cars are bristling with weapons, how to survive the savage, explosive fury of a Doomsday M.O.T test. And amongst all the nuclear carnage, we also tackle the ultimate petrolhead's dilemma - what cars would you take for a final drive if there was only one barrel of petrol left on the planet? The explosions are huge, the cars are superb, so relax and enjoy. PS. This frightening vision of a post nuclear world is backed up by top scientists, in case you think it's us just cocking about. Guest stars: James May, Richard Hammond | ||

| 47 | The Perfect Road Trip | 2013-11-18 |
| Seven days, more than 1,000 miles, 20 cars, two boats, a motorbike and one dream...The Perfect Road Trip. The aim: to select the ideal mode of transport for each leg of a pilgrimage from Venice, Italy to Pau in France – home to a legendary street circuit and the origins of Grand Prix racing. On the way we prepare by taking to the track at Monza – the home of Italian Formula One. We try to get noticed on the road course in Monaco in a Bugatti, a Lamborghini and a Model T Ford. After cruising the canals in Venice we take to the tarmac and things look good - thanks to the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Mercedes SLS Black. Throw in a Pagani Huayra, Porsche Cayman S and a GT3 as well as the Aston Martin Vanquish centenary edition, Bentley V8 convertible, Rolls Royce Phantom coupe and the face-bending BAC Mono all seems pretty perfect to us. There’s culture too. An all-out effort to get the Birmingham burger-boy to savour the culinary delights of Italy and France – including octopus and an old balcony. Then it’s time to turn up the heat even more with a Top Gear race... and the worst forfeit in television history Finally we head to the historic road course in Pau. Surely nothing could spoil our Perfect Road Trip... Enjoy...! Jeremy Clarkson & Richard Hammond | ||

| 37 | Top Gear At the Movies | 2011-11-14 |
| Cars! Film! Cars on film! Film involving cars! You get the idea. It’s basically a Blu-ray involving those two things. Gasp as we find the perfect drift car for a gritty, Bourne Identity-style chase! Cheer as we stage a race for all those unsung heroes of the movie industry! Whoop as we find the car that makes the perfect dramatic exhaust note to dub onto an action sequence! Make some other sort of noise we haven’t thought of yet as we re-attempt the classic Man With The Golden Gun barrel roll, having frankly made a total hash of it when we first tried it on telly! All this plus a vast fleet of sexy supercars and a man with a jet pack racing a Skoda. Top Gear At The Movies. It’s better than an actual movie. Probably. Actually, it depends on which movie we’re talking about. Truth is, you’d be better judging this on a case-by-case basis. Why not write to us with the name of a film and we’ll tell you whether this Blu-ray is better or not. Actually, on second thoughts, don’t. | ||

| 32 | Apocalypse | 2010-11-22 |
| Just what will motoring be like in a post apocalyptic world that’s been blown to bits by nuclear bombs or a massive comet? It’s a burning question that’s on literally nobody’s mind, and we give you all the answers in this brand new, incredibly cheerful Top Gear DVD. Embarking on a terrifying journey into the future, we show you how to drive to work in the perpetual darkness of a Nuclear Winter, how to make motorsport exciting when there’s only two racing drivers left alive, and, in a world where all cars are bristling with weapons, how to survive the savage, explosive fury of a Doomsday M.O.T test. And amongst all the nuclear carnage, we also tackle the ultimate petrolhead’s dilemma – what cars would you take for a final drive if there was only one barrel of petrol left on the planet? The explosions are huge, the cars are superb, so relax and enjoy. PS. This frightening vision of a post nuclear world is backed up by top scientists, in case you think it’s us just cocking about. | ||

| The Top Gear team of James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond swap the steering wheel for the shovel as they embark on a Ground Force style makeover challenge as part of Sport Relief. The Top Gear team of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond decide, for Sport Relief to resurrect the show Ground Force, and provide a garden makeover to the garden of one of Britain's 'sporting legends', namely Sir Stephen Redgrave. Helping them are a team of Poles. As the team's only 'country bumpkin' Hammond is the team leader. However, his garden plan fails to impress Clarkson and May, who want to include a water feature and a shed, respectively. They are sent to a Wyevale Garden Centre to pick up supplies, returning with their desired equipment. Hammond uses a small digger to dig a trench, to be used to create a 'river of gravel.' Clarkson earlier revealed his unique method for pulling up weeds and cutting branches off trees using a shotgun. Hammond's digger topples over in the trench, so he returns with a much larger digger to pull it out, resulting in leaving numerous Caterpillar tracks marks all over the garden. Meanwhile, James and the Poles have completed the shed. Hammond's tree seat is completed. He brings in a 14 tone crane to hook the seat so he could slip it over the tree. Despite the machine getting stuck, the crane is long enough to hook onto the seat. Because he had not got the hang of the crane, he accidentally swished it sideways, destroying both the shed and the seat. Clarkson decides to remove a rockery by using a homemade bomb. During the explosion one wall of the shed James built is smashed. After this happens May steps out of the shed with a plank of wood, and asks what time the programme will air. After being informed it was going to air after the watershed, he exclaims 'you're a fu-'. At this point, the episode cuts to the next scene. Jeremy orders some cement to pave over the garden, but he orders too little, and only a small | ||

| In this special compilation Clarkson sees how tough "that" Toyota Hilux pick-up truck truly is by putting it through a series of tests, including driving it through Bristol and nearly losing it to the sea, before returning to the test track to see what else it can withstand. Hammond finds out if he can get the same thrill and excitement he got from participating in the Pamplona Bull Run in Spain, in the Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster. Clarkson also tries to see if he can beat a human skater in the "Speed Skating" event, in a Jaguar XKR. The trio take a look at what it's like to drive vans, as they take a Renault Master, a Ford Transit and a Volkswagen T30 TDI 174 Sportline, and become roadies for The Who. Clarkson claims he's found a good way to give up smoking with the new £415,000 Koenigsegg CCX. Hammond competes against May in a game of "Car Ice Hockey" with several Suzuki Swifts. Finally May sees what else can be done to prove that a Toyota Hilux is tough by placing the same Hilux on top of a tower block due for demolition. | ||
